Note: The project will be administered using the Owner's web-based project management system. PRZM was developed to maximaize the potential of the Internet in allowing project team members to access and exchange project information. PRZM supports team colllaboration in management and interaction, as well as a team member empowerment on a multi-layer security system. Minimum user requirements are as follows:
- Internet Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher is recommended.
- E-mail: PRZM requires the user to have a valid e-mail account.
- Computer-Aided Drawing (CAD) viewer.
Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:
- Licensed to practice as an (Architect, Engineer, or Landscape Architect) in the State of Illinois.
- Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board.
- Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
- Utilization of AutoCAD compatible System.
The following project-related criteria will be used to evaluate the firms requesting consideration for selection:
- Current commitments of firm and proposed staff
- Overall design quality of the relevant projects as evidenced by the submittal of a single representative specification and the associated drawings for an elevator project prepared by the firm for use at a major college or university
- Must provide professional liability insurance for a minimum of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000), with a maximum deductible of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000)
- Prior experience of the proposed project staff in the design and construction of elevator projects for institutions of higher education
- Appropriate sized staff, professional disciplines, and professional/technical supervision
- Proven professional capability and commitment to provide quality professional services
- MAFBE participation of Professional Service Consultant
