Note: The project will be administered using the Owner's web-based project management system. PRZM was developed to maximaize the potential of the Internet in allowing project team members to access and exchange project information. PRZM supports team colllaboration in management and interaction, as well as a team member empowerment on a multi-layer security system. Minimum user requirements are as follows:
- Internet Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher is recommended.
- E-mail: PRZM requires the user to have a valid e-mail account.
- Computer-Aided Drawing (CAD) viewer.
Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:
- Licensed to practice as an (Architect, Engineer, or Landscape Architect) in the State of Illinois.
- Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board.
- Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
- Utilization of AutoCAD compatible System.
The following project-related criteria will be used to evaluate the firms requesting consideration for selection:
- Prior firm experience in planning and construction of similar projects with specific attention to remodeling of large historic buildings, including significant interior structural demolition, in congested spaces with limited access and proximity to students, with schedule constraints and high risk.
- Supporting organization of sufficient size to support the field team and with established quality control processes
- Track record indicating an ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with other members of a large project team on similar projects
- Proven quality of performance of the CM firm throughout all phases of the preconstruction and construction process with extensive estimating experience to prepare precise estimates and work with PSC to value engineer costs.
- The ability to help plan and execute a complex design and construction schedule with a firmly committed completion date while safely executing renovations with significant interior demolition.
- Demonstrated inclusion of Minority Business Enterprise/Female Business Enterprise team members meeting or exceeding the University’s goal of 20% participation on the CM team on recent similar projects.
- Demonstrated construction management skills and tools providing effective schedules, cost tracking, tracking of deliverables, and periodic reporting
- Demonstrated firm experience in planning and construction of projects in accordance with Illinois Procurement Rules and related regulations
