PUBLIC NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION RELATED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois hereby requests qualifications from professional services consultants to provide professional services in connection with the following project:
Project Name: Mech Engineering Bldg CEMMS Clean Room Lab Remodeling
Description of Project: Remodel 1,000 g.s.f. for the new Center on the 2nd floor of the north wing of the Mechanical Engineering Building. It will develop a class 100 clean room laboratory, which will have central air conditioning and heating and a full complement of laboratory utilities as outlined in the Program Statement. The UIUC North Campus Chiller Plant will provide chilled water for HVAC system.

Project Budget: $700,000.00Construction Budget: $490,000.00

Note: The project will be administered using the Owner's web-based project management system. PRZM was developed to maximaize the potential of the Internet in allowing project team members to access and exchange project information. PRZM supports team colllaboration in management and interaction, as well as a team member empowerment on a multi-layer security system.

Minimum user requirements are as follows:

  • Internet Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher is recommended.
  • E-mail: PRZM requires the user to have a valid e-mail account.
  • Computer-Aided Drawing (CAD) viewer.

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:

  • Licensed to practice as an (Architect, Engineer, or Landscape Architect) in the State of Illinois.
  • Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board.
  • Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
  • Utilization of AutoCAD compatible System.
