PUBLIC NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION RELATED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois hereby requests qualifications from professional services consultants to provide professional services in connection with the following project:
Project Name: Digital Computer Lab 3rd Floor Remodel
Description of Project: This project will remodel approximately 6,850 square feet on the third floor of the Digital Computer Lab to create 39 student interview rooms, a waiting room, and an employee coffee room for the College of Engineering Career Services. The area to be remodeled includes room 3310 and surrounding offices relating to the existing library area on the third floor.

Project Budget: $1,116,697.00Construction Budget: $732,608.00

Note: The project will be administered using the Owner's web-based project management system. PRZM was developed to maximaize the potential of the Internet in allowing project team members to access and exchange project information. PRZM supports team colllaboration in management and interaction, as well as a team member empowerment on a multi-layer security system.

Minimum user requirements are as follows:

  • Internet Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher is recommended.
  • E-mail: PRZM requires the user to have a valid e-mail account.
  • Computer-Aided Drawing (CAD) viewer.

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:

  • Licensed to practice as an (Architect, Engineer, or Landscape Architect) in the State of Illinois.
  • Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board.
  • Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
  • Utilization of AutoCAD compatible System.

The Professional Services Consultant selection will be consistent with the Architectual, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).
